What is a prepaid business class lounge access?

Any passenger travelling in an economy class can join us in our business lounges to unwind, relax for upto three hours before their flight by opting to purchase the access at the time of issuing their ticket.

  • Passengers holding Bhutan Airlines tickets as identified by the “786” prefix in the ticket number may purchase pre-paid business class lounge for all flights operated by Bhutan Airlines.
  • Lounge access is non-endorsable and non-transferable between passengers.
  • Bhutan Airlines reserves the right to amend, limit or revoke this offer at any time prior to purchase and accepts no responsibility for any technical issues resulting in the failure to pay.
  • Each access is valid per passenger and per segment.
  • Each access is valid for the lounge, flight and date shown on the purchase receipt and ticket.
  • Each access is valid for a total duration in the lounge of up to three hours. Any additional hours can be purchased on the day of departure.
  • At least one passenger in the booking should be of legal age to access the lounge
  • Includes all applicable taxes.
  • If there is a change in the date or time of the booked flight, the business class lounge access will be linked with the new flight.
  • If a passenger has pre-paid business class access and subsequently changes flight date and/or time with no change in origin/destination, they are eligible, at any time prior to departure, to have their lounge access purchase transferred to the new flight date/time with no additional payments, upon request at the Bhutan Airlines’ Contact Center.
  • For passengers holding round trip tickets, separate lounge access payment is required for the return flight if needed.
  • No mileage points will be awarded for pre-paid business class access.
  • Bhutan Airlines reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise its pre-paid business class access rates, as well as the terms and conditions associated with the pre-paid business class access at any time with or without prior notice.

Refund:

  • Refundable if canceled more than 24 hours prior to departure.
  • No refund will be allowed once the flight has departed (irrespective of whether the access has been used or not)
  • Bhutan Airlines will provide a full refund of pre-paid business class access payments if the flight is cancelled by Bhutan Airlines.
  • For bookings that are cancelled by passengers in accordance with fare terms 24 hours prior to flight departure, Bhutan Airlines will provide a full refund of pre-paid business class access.
  • Pre-paid business class access are non-refundable in case of a no-show for scheduled flights.
