TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR ASSISTANT SAFETY OFFICER

  • The assistant safety officer is responsible to support the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) andOperation of FDM application, data collection, processing, and preparation of reports.
  • Support the safety manager with the administration of the FDM efforts to ensure analysis of Flight data for improved flight safety.
  • Support the safety manager in producing communication bulletins and newsletters and other safety correspondences.
  • Provide periodic reports on Safety Performance to the Manager and Safety Review Board arrangement.
  • Identifying and analyzing hazards and maintaining a register of hazards, risks, and risk controls (mitigations) and,
  • Support the safety manager in planning/recording mandatory occurrence report (MOR) activities and co-ordinate with maintenance and the regulatory authority. `
  • Any other additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the Head from time to time.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. IT / BCA) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. (preferably in web designing)
